A Passion Most Pure (Daughters of Boston #1)

A Passion Most Pure - Julie Lessman

I had trepidations about starting this book, and sadly, they were well founded. This book read like a clean soap opera! Love triangles and back and forth affections abounded in this story! It was set against a great backdrop of World War I, and it was great at keeping my interest, but I really was unsettled by the "romantic" aspect of the book. Faith's conviction about the Lord was wonderful and I liked how her faith was able to influence those around her into giving their lives to God, but the men that Faith was involved with were definitely not worthy of her! For all that it kept my interest, after learning the heroine of the next book in the series, I am definitely not interested in continuing the series!
