Judgment in Death (In Death #11)

Judgment in Death - J.D. Robb

This was much better than some of the more recent stories of hers that I have read. There was good symbolism, and the focus wasn't so much on the secondary characters but on the motives for the murders. There were several red herrings, so much so that when the murderer was revealed, I was a bit surprised by it. In a longer running series, such as this one, not much can be said about the characters or the setting other than they continue to build upon each previous book, becoming more complex and interesting as time goes on. The reader gets a layered look at both of these things as the books wear on. All in all, an interesting way to spend the day!
