After loving the first book in this series, I figured I'd love this one too, but sadly, it was a case of not so much.
We have the same cast of characters from the previous book, but this time both Caroline and Sophie suffered from a case of "no communication/heads up rear end" syndrome. It became a lot of angst and drama that didn't really help the plot along. There also wasn't as much that I found amusing in this book. It became a very dull read, very quickly.
However, I do feel that it needs to be said that the descriptions of the setting were absolutely wonderful, and I found it very easy to picture everything! That alone gave it an extra half star to make it up to my 3 star rating! I'm hoping this was just a fluke and the next book will be much better!
