This book was so slow! The only thing that saved it from a 1 star rating or a DNF was the roller derby scene and information. I actually found that rather interesting!
I couldn't stand Aiden. I couldn't understand why the (view spoiler) in the first place. I get his wanting revenge, but the method of the revenge wasn't very satisfactory, nor was it entirely necessary.
Madison was kind of an interesting heroine, though a bit clueless at times. I liked how she built herself up from the divorce, but she was pretty stupid to get involved like that in the first place.
I wish Aiden's racing had more page time! That would have made it more like Fast and Furious, rather than the token acknowledgement that this book had.
All in all, I am very disappointed in this book. I'll read the second, just to see if it improves, but I'm not hopeful.
