I really hated this book! It felt like a series of scenes strung together with a common theme of being set on a holiday. There was no communication between the two main characters, or Shannon the heroine and her employee Jake that had a crush on her, which made for a lot of hurt feelings, drama, and angst, when there really didn't need to be. The hero was a selfish jerk, and I couldn't really understand his interest in Shannon. Thankfully, it was a short read, but I'll not be seeking out the author in the future.
