Origin in Death (In Death, #21)

Origin in Death (In Death, #21) - J.D. Robb This installment of the Eve Dallas series was a more difficult read for me. It delved more into the ethics surrounding this particular mystery, and had a somewhat convoluted plot that took a good while to get into. Once over that particular hump, the book was a bit of an action/mind bender ride. However, I think Star Wars' television series The Clone Wars handled the moral and ethical dilemma much better than this did.

There was progress made on the family front for Roarke, and it was interesting to watch them begin to settle into a rhythm, and especially Eve's take on it all. The Thanksgiving holidays made an appealing backdrop for this!

All things considered, this is an installment that will make you think, but not a particularly entertaining one.
