Pippi Longstocking

Pippi Longstocking - Astrid Lindgren, Nancy Seligsohn, Florence Lamborn I remembered loving this book as a child, so when I had a challenge come up that needed a book by a dead author, I wound up re-reading it for the first time as an adult. While some of the things that I found magical as a child wound up being a bit boring for me as an adult, I did appreciate the sense of whimsy that infused the entire book. Pippi's zest for life was refreshing, and had a smile touching my lips on more than one occasion! All in all, it is a beloved book for me, and it was good to revisit it.
